Before founding Blue Hyphen Creative, LLC, I worked for more than two decades in fundraising as a writer, editor, grant manager, and prospect researcher. I’ve helped all kinds of organizations—civic, health care, arts, education, and libraries—tell their stories to great success.
I hold a Certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago and am fluent in The Chicago Manual of Style. I also have a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Akron and a master of library science degree from Kent State University. I am a member of ACES: The Society for Editing and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
When not fussing over commas, I enjoy performing with the Wadsworth Community Band.
